Summer in Santa Barbara is ripe with activity during the month of June: lively polo matches in Carpinteria, the Lavender Festival at the Old Mission, and the dazzling Summer Solstice Parade along Santa Barbara Street.
One of our favorite events to usher in the summer season is the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History’s Wine + Food Festival.
We enjoyed sampling many of the Central Coast’s best wines and culinary delights while enjoying a sunny summer afternoon in the Museum’s oak woodland along Mission Creek.
