California Coastal towns continue to grow in interest as buyers expand out from urban hubs like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
Mansion Global’s article “Coastal California Towns Steal Top Spots on Luxury Segment of WSJ/Realtor.com Index” shows that Santa Barbara slid into the Number 1 spot.
“The city of Santa Barbara not only has properties with plenty of room for work, school, entertainment and exercise, but it offers high-end shopping and dining, outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and, of course, beaches.”
Santa Barbara is known for its temperate climate, Spanish-style architecture, and range of outdoor activities. Mansion Global explains that more and more people are searching for less dense communities with space to spread out, which areas in Santa Barbara county, such as Montecito and Hope Ranch, can provide.
