2021 has started off with a bang! As has been the trend for at least the past 6 months, we saw very strong sales numbers in the Santa Barbara real estate market during the month of January. With inventory sitting at the lowest level recorded in the past 15-years, we expect prices to continue to climb.

Santa Barbara Market Report | December 2020

Happy New Year from Knight Real Estate Group! We are delighted to provide you with a recap of the market through December 2020. While most of us would rather forget 2020 happened, we can’t deny the impact it had on real estate, especially in South Santa Barbara County.

Despite an abrupt dip in sales during the Spring months, August through December posted record-breaking numbers. The year ended with a 23% increase in the median price for single family homes, and an 8% increase for condominiums.
